ABOUT US

The Rotary Club of Ambernath North (RCAN) is officially registered under District 3142 of Rotary International and was chartered on May 25, 2016. In a short period, the club gained significant recognition for its contributions to environmental conservation and community-focused initiatives.

The club's charter president, Rtn Gunvant Patil, a retired engineer, served from 2016 to 2017. Under his leadership, RCAN grew substantially, welcoming 26 new members.

As the club celebrates its tenth anniversary, it currently has 36 members. Over the years, several distinguished individuals have served as past presidents, including Rtn Avdhut Mohite, Rtn Rajendra Patil, Rtn Roma Bagtani, Rtn Narsimha Mehtre, Rtn Prakash Kothari, Rtn Rajkumar Tolani, Rtn Rajesh Kadam, and Rtn Ajay Tale.

RCAN Organizes – Thalassemia Awareness Session by Dr. Sai Nemade at St. Paul’s College 15th November 2025 The Rotary Club of Ambarnath North organized an informative session on “Thalassemia Awareness”, delivered by Dr. Sai Nemade from Jalgaon. The session was attended by final-year students, teaching and non-teaching faculty members, Rotarians, and invited guests, with over 75 participants present. On behalf of RC Ambarnath North, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sai Nemade for her valuable time and insightful presentation.
