The Rotary Club of Ambernath North (RCAN) is officially registered under District 3142 of Rotary International and was chartered on May 25, 2016. In a short period, the club gained significant recognition for its contributions to environmental conservation and community-focused initiatives.
The club's charter president, Rtn Gunvant Patil, a retired engineer, served from 2016 to 2017. Under his leadership, RCAN grew substantially, welcoming 26 new members.
As the club celebrates its tenth anniversary, it currently has 36 members. Over the years, several distinguished individuals have served as past presidents, including Rtn Avdhut Mohite, Rtn Rajendra Patil, Rtn Roma Bagtani, Rtn Narsimha Mehtre, Rtn Prakash Kothari, Rtn Rajkumar Tolani, Rtn Rajesh Kadam, and Rtn Ajay Tale.
RCAN Swayamsidha Award 2025 On 1st November 2025, we had the honour of felicitating 10 remarkable women with the Swayamsidha Award for their hard work, determination, and dedication toward their families. Despite facing the loss of their life partners — through divorce or bereavement — these women did not give up. Instead, they continued their journey with positivity, courage, and perseverance, ultimately achieving success and inspiring others with their resilience.
