The club's charter president, Rtn Gunvant Patil, a retired engineer, served from 2016 to 2017. Under his leadership, RCAN grew substantially, welcoming 26 new members.
As the club celebrates its tenth anniversary, it currently has 36 members. Over the years, several distinguished individuals have served as past presidents, including Rtn Avdhut Mohite, Rtn Rajendra Patil, Rtn Roma Bagtani, Rtn Narsimha Mehtre, Rtn Prakash Kothari, Rtn Rajkumar Tolani, Rtn Rajesh Kadam, and Rtn Ajay Tale.
RCAN has initiated a wide array of projects over the years, which span several categories aimed at improving the community and its surroundings. Notable projects include Bio Sanitiser, which addresses environmental hygiene, the Nation Builder Award to honor those who contribute to nation-building, and Nirmala Collections, a project focused on cleanliness. Other key initiatives include POP Murthy Immersion to promote environmentally friendly practices, Adult Literacy programs to enhance education, and WASH in Schools to improve sanitation in educational institutions. The club has also worked on Underground Water Restoration, Cricket Fellowship, and the Divyang Yodha Award, which recognizes individuals with disabilities. Additionally, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) and Eye Check-Ups & Cataract Operations have been vital health initiatives led by the club.
Under the leadership of TiTEN Year President, Rtn Pralhad Jadhav, RCAN will focus on continuing its legacy through its flagship projects. Rtn Pralhad, along with his Board of Directors, will dedicate efforts to areas that have a profound impact on society.
These include literacy, with a focus on educational advancements, particularly in rural areas; women’s empowerment, aimed at promoting gender equality; and digital education, recognizing the importance of technology in today's world. His leadership will also emphasize skill development, offering training programs to improve employability and economic independence. Disability empowerment will remain a priority, ensuring that people with disabilities receive the necessary support and opportunities. Additionally, talent identification will play a role in recognizing and nurturing emerging talents, while family bonding and fellowship activities will be promoted to strengthen community ties.
